Gather Around the Fire Pit: Bunnie Xo’s Priceless Reaction To ‘Love Island’ Using Jelly Roll’s Song

Podcast host Bunnie Xo is rarely at a loss for words. That's what makes her confused reaction to the use of her husband Jelly Roll's song, "Save Me," on a recent episode of Love Island all the more hilarious.

For those unfamiliar with the Peacock reality dating show, here's how it works: Singles are sent to the titular locale to connect. They are also tested on how much they like each other for a chance to win a cash prize. The twist is that there is an episode every evening. Also, viewers can vote for the couples they like or their least favorite singles. The results could lead to them being voted off the island.

How Does Jelly Roll's "Save Me" Fit In?

On a recent episode of Love Island, viewers voted for contestants Iris Kendall and Jeremiah Brown to go on a date. However, Huda Mustafa, who has been at the center of much of this season's drama, has made it clear that she wants Brown only for herself. Of course, her strategy contradicts the point of the show, which is to have the contestants make out with each other as much as possible.

When Kendall gives Mustafa a recap of the date, she gets visibly upset. Cue "Save Me." The emotional clip then goes viral on social media.

Bunnie Xosees through the drama

On her Dumb Blonde Podcast, Bunnie Xo's co-hosts attempt to explain to her what happened. Her reaction was one for the ages:

"I heard they used J's song "Save Me" on Love Island," she asks. "Why? Who needs to be saved?"

Considering the song's appearance on the show contributes to the couple's financial bottom line, this is a pretty hilarious take.

However, the clip has given the model and podcast host a whole new appreciation for Love Island. She says she's going to begin watching the show to see what happens to Mustafa, who works as a stripper when she isn't in front of the camera. Bunnie Xo may even book her as a guest when this season of Love Island is all said and done.

"I saw her shakin' her a-- and was like, 'Hey!' Even more reason to love her," added Bunnie Xo.
