Frustrations are aplenty in Las Vegas. Fans looking to see what bells and whistles Kelly Clarkson would pull off in Sin City are unfortunately out of luck. The worst part, it was all pretty last minute too. Recently, the singer and daytime TV host took to Instagram, where she reveals that she would be cancelling her show at the very last minute.

"We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans. I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's opening at Caesars," Kelly reveals.
So what happened? Well, word is, Clarkson's voice isn't holding up very well. In getting ready for the show, her vocal health wasn't at 100%. Ultimately, she feels like she can't give her fans a bad show. Consequently, she makes the tough decision to cancel her 4th of July weekend shows accordingly.

"The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice," Clarkson admits. "I want the shows to be perfect for y'all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve. The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong. I can't wait to be back next weekend and show y'all what we've been working on."
Naturally, despite Kelly and her earnest intentions, fans are reasonably upset. Of course, no sensible person wants her to persevere through a half baked performance. However, they do take exception to the fact that she didn't call the show off sooner. Given the finances fans invest into travel arrangements and hotels, they want Clarkson to give more of a heads up, if possible.
"I'm a huge fan and flew here from Boston spending thousands on tickets and hotels to see your show tomorrow for my 40th birthday. I really want you to be healthy but cancelling this late has such a huge financial impact on your loyal fans," one person comments to Kelly. In a much more calloused tone, another fan takes exception to Clarkson's timing. "15 minutes before the start of the show?" they scoff.
