Pat Green is mourning the loss of two of his own family members. Pat's brother and sister-in-law are among the victims of the devastating Texas flood. Pat first shared the news on social media that he had family members missing.

"Over the weekend, during the devastating flooding that hit Central Texas, my family- like so many others-suffered a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss," the singer-songwriter writes. "We are grieving alongside countless Texans whose lives have been upended by this tragedy."
"Right now, we kindly ask for privacy and space as we mourn, support each other, and begin to process what comes next for our family," he continues. "Thank you for your love, prayers, and compassion."
Pat's wife Kori shares her husband's post, captioning it by revealing it was Pat's own brother who is among those who are missing.
"We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and concern," Kori says. She says that it's Pat's younger brother John and his wife, Julia, along with two of their children, Jack and James, who are among the victims of the flood.
"We are heartbroken and anxiously waiting for all of them to be found," she adds. "Thank you for your prayers."

Texas station KHOU reveals that Pat's brother and his wife have passed away. Their two boys are reportedly still missing. Per the outlet, the family was inside their RV at a campsite when the Guadalupe River rose early Friday morning.
"A lot of sadness," neighbor Winnie Taylor says of the loss of the Burgess family members. "The neighbors around here, we've all been praying and everything, and it's just a sad, sad situation. I just can't hardly believe it."
Julia's cousin, Michael Schwab, confirms the loss of John and Julia, in a post shared on social media.
"These past few days have been devastating for my family as we continue to mourn the loss of John Burgess, and have been praying for Julia Anderson Burgess and their two sweet boys," he says.
"We were deeply saddened to learn this morning that my cousin Julia Anderson Burgess's body has now been found," Michael continues. "We continue to pray for their two boys who are still missing at this time. As we continue to process everything, we'd ask that everyone please continue to respect the Burgess and Anderson families' privacy."
