Or anything that George Jones and Tammy Wynette sang together. How about Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty? More recently, we have Ella Langley and Riley Green on their classic-in-the-making, "You Look Like You Love Me." To all those wonderfully listenable pairings, please add Brooke Lee and Lukas Nelson. What Is The Significance Of The Dandelion In Brooke Lee's Life?

Per Holler, although dandelions may lack the colorful beauty of, say, roses or tulips, they are stubborn little survivors. Their key trait is an ability to weather whatever comes and to bounce back. According to the outlet, "...[A]s Brooke dealt with the sickness and eventual loss of her grandfather, the song took on an even deeper meaning and this song became her anthem."

So many of the greatest tracks in music have autobiographical origins. "Dandelion" is no different. It exquisitely blends a dash of charming sass with touchingly heartfelt sentiment. As Lee explains on her web site, "Anything I write and sing about is something I can relate to. I've always been intentional with my words and lyrics. We all have a story to tell, and I want everyone to hear mine through my songs."

Lee said per Holler, "This one's really close to my heart. I've been wanting to put it out for years, so the fact that it's finally coming - and that one of my good friends is on it with me - makes it even more special. It's about growing wherever you're planted and finding beauty in whatever season you're in. I can't wait for y'all to hear it."

She Has Talked About The Connection Between The Song And The Painful Loss Of Her Grandfather

Per a press release, Lee described the song's meaning. "'Dandelion' is about being pulled from the ground and still choosing to grow. My Pawpaw believed in this song from the very beginning. I sing it for him, and for anyone who's had to find light in the cracks. It's upbeat and full of hope - a reminder that rising through the hard stuff can still be something beautiful. This song doesn't dwell on the pain, it dances through it." That formula for finding joy again after enduring heartache is the backbone of "Dandelion,"

When I first heard the song 'Dandelion,' it moved me lyrically and the groove was so funky, I couldn't help but want to lend my voice and guitar to it!"
