Ominously, it has been revealed that the American Idol producer Robin Kaye had a foreboding fear of her safety before the tragic murder of her and her husband. She had sought private security in the weeks leading up to the break in.

Last week Monday, police found Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, both 70, dead in their Los Angeles home in Encino. Police found their bodies after a welfare check.
In a chilling new detail, per NBC Los Angeles, Robin Kaye had reached out to a private security firm before being found dead. Kris Herzog, owner of the Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills, shared her fears.
Although Kaye never ended up hiring any security firm, she explained why she was seeking security.
Herzog said, "She felt threatened by somebody because of somebody around their home or around their neighborhood who felt suspicious."
Further details on the matter aren't available. It is also unclear why Kaye never ended up hiring any security whatsoever. This does prove, however, that there was unsettling activity leading up to the burglary of their home.
It is possible she felt uneasy due to catching an individual, or a group, scouting her house in preparation for the break-in.
A Suspect Is In Custody
Police have apprehended Raymond Boodarian, 22, who they believe to be the culprit of the break-in and gunning down of Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca.
Authorities believe Boodarian was actually burglarizing their home while they were away on July 10. Detectives speculate that the suspect was in their home for half an hour before they returned to their invaded home.
Bizarrely, there were "no signs of forced entry or trouble" at the Encino home. This does corroborate with a neighbor's claim that they didn't "hear anything" at the time of the burglary.
"My renter saw somebody hopping the fence, but that was back on Thursday. She called 911, but we didn't hear anything since then, so we have no idea if it's even related or not," the neighbor, Amee Faggen, continued.
Police don't believe the burglary and murder are personal. Authorities haven't yet found a personal connection between him and the victims.
