The band announced its farewell tour in 2023. It was scheduled to end last year. Despite the loss of tenor Joe Bosnall in 2024, the Country Music Hall of Famers have continued to press on and schedule shows well into 2025.

According to Duane Allen, he was approached by Richard Sterban, Ben James, and William Lee Golden, the three other members of the group, about hanging up their cowboy hats.

"They said we've all talked, and we want to keep working," said Allen. "We're not through singing yet."

To prove its commitment to the road, The Oak Ridge Boys recently announced its "American Made Christmas Tour."

The Oak Ridge Boys Will Play Hits and Christmas Favorites

The award-winning group has been playing holiday shows for over 30 years. It's no surprise that the quartet would want to perform during the most wonderful time of the year.

Fans can expect to see The Oak Ridge Boys onstage against a picturesque backdrop that features falling snow, decorated Christmas trees, and other visuals that invoke the spirit of the season.

The group also announced that the setlist will feature selections from its seven bestselling Christmas albums and iconic hits like "Elvira."

"Christmas time has always been our favorite time of year," shares Duane Allen. "Getting to see everyone during the holidays, singing our favorite Christmas songs, both traditional and new, is something I look forward to all year long. Come on out and see us if you can."
