Zach Bryan is showing fans that, despite all the drama with his ex-girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry, he is still hard at work.

The "Heading South" singer recently revealed on social media news of a collaboration that would probably make Morgan Wallen jealous. Bryan will drop "Bowery," a new song with Oklahoma rockers Kings of Leon, on Friday, August 8.
Zach Bryan Called the Collab the "Honor Of My Life"
The caption on the post says the collab was the honor of his life. It includes pictures of Bryan with the quartet in the style of Polaroids. The artists are sharing a round, sitting in what appears to be a dimly lit dive bar. Surrounded by wood paneling, cheesy pictures, license plates, and bottles of Budweiser, Bryan looks like he's having the time of his life.
It's hard to tell if the members of Kings of Leon feel the same way. All four of them appear stone-faced throughout.
Zach Bryan already played with Kings of Leon for a series of shows from July 18-20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He's slated to reunite with the band at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on August 15.
Judging from this clip with up-and-coming songwriter Joshua Slone, the song sounds like a good fit for both artists. It has the alt-rock riffs that Kings of Leon are known for. The lyrics, on the other hand, seem right up Bryan's alley.
No Word if the Song Will Be on Zach Bryan's New Album
Earlier this year, Bryan said he was taking a break from touring. Of course, his shows with Kings of Leon, along with some festival dates, were an exception to the rule. However, that hasn't stopped him from working on new music.
Bryan released "Blue Jean Baby" the day after the Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC Championship, fulfilling a promise he made to fans. He also released a new version of "Rattlesnake" a few days after that.
Then last month, Zach Bryan dropped three new songs: "Streets of London," "A Song for You," and "River Washed Hair." He shared on social media that these tracks "didn't belong on the record, and they didn't fit on an EP either, so I'm just releasing them to get them out into the world cause I love them."
He also recently released "Madeline," a collab with Gabriella Rose. It's the first single off his upcoming album, With Heaven On Top. It's slated for release on January 9, 2026. No word if "Bowery" will be part of that album.
