How Swift Broke the News
Per People, Swift, along with Travis and Jason Kelce, made the album public on the famous brothers' New Heights podcast. She posted a short. sweet video about it on Instagram.
Per the outlet, "Swift, 35, says, 'Can I show you something?' Jason, 37, replies, 'Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it.' 'Yup,' Swift chimes in." Jason asks what is in the briefcase. Swift replies, "This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl."
The album cover is blurred out, so everyone will have to wait a bit longer to see it. There might be some more teasers forthcoming on August 13. Per the outlet, there is "confirmation" that the singer will be on the Kelce brothers' podcast on that date. Maybe Swift will spill some more beans then, who knows? The date that The Life of a Showgirl drops is unclear, but People notes that "Swift's website says copies will ship before Oct. 13."
