Miranda Lambert Laughs When Fan Flings Bra at Her During Concert: "It Ain't My Size"

You gotta love Miranda Lambert. The woman has an ironclad sense of humor, even when the joke is on her. For example, she wore a super-short denim mini skirt on stage recently. Well-positioned fans in the audience claimed they could see part of her posterior. As usual, Lambert, 41, had a wisecracking retort ready. This is one unflappable, unfazable singing star! Per Whiskey Riff, she had another potentially embarrassing moment mid-concert. In typical fashion, however, the "Kerosene" singer handled it just like a expert.

A Concert-Goer Tossed a Bra to Miranda Lambert

A few days ago, according to the outlet, Lambert was doing a show at the Lea Country Fairgrounds in Lovington, New Mexico. Things were going along normally when someone decided to throw their brassiere at Lambert. She was on stage doing the song "Baggage Claim."

There has been an unsettling trend lately of fans tossing objects at singers during their shows. That, of course, can be very dangerous. This, though, was much more funny than frightening. Lambert did not get one bit flustered. Per the outlet, "...[S]he had a hilarious reaction, saying 'it's been a while' since someone did that to her, but she thanked them nonetheless."

Her Deadpan Reaction Was Marvelous

Lambert reportedly said, "Who threw this bra up here? Okay. It's been a while, but thank you. It ain't my size, I'm gonna hang it right here. It's perfect timing because this one's for the ladies tonight." Then Lambert swung back into her song again completely without getting her feathers ruffled. That, folks, is pure, magnificent showmanship.

She Co-Hosted a Benefit Concert for People Affected by Last Month's Central Texas Floods

Like so many country music stars, Lambert, a Longview, Texas native, has a big, generous heart. On August 17, she and Parker McCollum hosted Band Together Texas, a star-studded benefit event at the Moody Center in Austin. Artists scheduled to perform included McCollum, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Lyle Lovett, and Lukas Nelson, to name just a few.

There were also going to be appearances by Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, baseball legend Roger Clemens, and several more luminaries. The festivities were livestreamed.

Kelly Clarkson was also slated to participate. She understandably withdrew after the recent death of her former husband, Brandon Blackstock.
