John Rich of Big and Rich Offers Fans a Unique Reward After His Prized Possession Was Stolen

Over the weekend, John Rich was robbed. Here's how he's getting fans to help him get back at the robber with a reward.

John Rich, who makes up half of the duo Big and Rich, is known for being pretty opinionated. Let's not forget his weigh-ins on Kanye and Morgan Wallen in 2024. However, after being robbed over the weekend, it seems maybe this time Rich has a reason to throw hands.

Just on Saturday, the entertainer took to Twitter to declare epically, "I WAS ROBBED!" in all caps, of course. Rich also shared a photo of his Polaris Sportsmen 850 ATV, which he claimed had been stolen over the weekend. He seemed desperate to get it back, even offering fans a reward to help him find the piece. "If you help me find it," he wrote, "I'll send you and [sic] an autographed guitar."

Rich even threatened the unknown thief in a separate post to his fans. "I really appreciate all of you keeping an eye out for this...my main goal is to find out who the thief is. He's gonna have a very bad day if we can find him."

As Rich urged fans to take screenshots of any ATVs they see being sold online and repost his cry for help, his fans were being nothing short of supportive in the comments. "That sucks, I have a feeling it'll turn up!" said one. "Unbelievable. I'll send a lot of prayers that it is found unharmed, John. Also reposted so more people know," commented another.

Others were more concerned about the potential reward they might receive. "Can you send the guitar without the autograph? I'm sure your autograph would decrease the resale value," one user said jokingly.

Who Is John Rich?

John Rich was initially known for his role as a member of the band Lonestar, where he played guitar, was a vocalist, and co-wrote several songs. In 1998, he chose to pursue a solo career, eventually forming Big and Rich in 2003 with Big Kenny.

The duo had quite a successful run together, having chart-topping singles like "Lost In This Moment" and several successful albums. In addition to his artist career with Big & Rich, he is also a three-time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year and television host.

For now, it would seem Big is taking a step back from his career endeavors to focus on what's important, which is finding his recently stolen ATV vehicle. I'm sure he's not gonna have too much to worry about soon, as it seems like he's got an army of fans on the lookout for him, and in pursuit of that autographed guitar.
