Dasha Gets Hate After Replacing Ella Langley in Duet With Riley Green

After Dasha replaced Ella Langley for a duet with Riley Green, haters had a lot to say. Here's the latest.

Many fans of Ella Langley and Riley Green know them for their duets, especially "You Look Like You Love Me." Fans love their performance of the song so much that it has led many to create narratives about them online. Some people think they're dating, and others believe they dated in the past. Regardless of whether either of those is true or not, they certainly deliver a performance that makes either story believable. Therefore, when Riley Green invited Dasha on stage to perform Ella's part of the song, a lot of people weren't thrilled.

Recently, Langley said via Instagram that she was taking a break from touring after being on the road all summer. "The past several weeks have been tough. I've been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought, I've made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health - mind, body, and heart."

The singer shared some additional words of wisdom, saying that "Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I'm so grateful for your understanding and your love - it truly means the world to me."

People Are Giving Dasha Hate, Again

At the LASSO music festival, Dasha stepped in to sing Ella's parts with Green on multiple songs. The pair sang "You Look Like You Love Me" and "Don't Mind If I Do." Someone shared a video on TikTok of Dasha's rendition, and many fans had mixed reactions.

"Shame on Riley for replacing Ella like that," said one, blaming the switch-up on Green. "He should never sing this with anyone other than Ella," said another. People were even going so far as to personally attack Dasha, criticizing her singing and sense of style.

"Dasha needs a better stylist asap because what is this outfit?"

"She looks like some random fan from the crowd they put on stage to come sing with him."

Luckily, Dasha has some experience with internet haters. Just recently, she even took to TikTok to clap back at a few. "Hey guys, today I'm going to be doing a dramatic reading of hate comments." She decided to choose humor and grace over negative words, and honestly we're here for it.

People on the internet will say anything. However, the "Austin" singer has made it clear she knows how to deal with hate, so it doesn't look like Ella Langley superfans are gonna stop her anytime soon.
