Riley Green surprisingly isn't a fan of love songs, at least when it comes to writing and singing them. Green, who just had a No. 1 hit with "Worst Way," is back in the Top 30 with "Don't Mind If I Do." The song, his second duet with Ella Langley, is about the angst of two people who want to be together, even though they are no longer a couple.

While both "Worst Way" and "Don't Mind If I Do" are their own versions of love songs, and both big hits for Green, the singer-songwriter says he actually doesn't like them.
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to write more love songs, now" Green tells CMT. "It's not really my thing. Now I think I'm stuck. I think I'm going to have to have at least one of those on every record."
Riley Green Didn't Mean To Include Ella Langely On "Don't Mind If I Do"
Green wasn't trying to capitalize on the success of "You Look Like You Love Me," his previous duet with Langley, when he wrote "Don't Mind If I Do." In fact, he didn't plan on having Langley on the song at all, until he realized her voice was perfect for the romantic tune.
"I think I got her to come in the day I wrote it, and just kind of hummed to see what key I needed to write it in," Green tells his record label. "'Cause I wrote it as a duet. And when I was in the studio recording it, I just called her to come by to put a vocal on it, so I could play it for whoever I was gonna pitch it to, as far as the female. And she just crushed it."
Green and Langley have vehemently denied any romance between the two of them. Still, Green admits there is no one in his mind who compares to Langley, at least musically.
"I remember sitting there, and she was like in a sweatsuit," Green remembers. "She came by the house and sang it, and it was just, I couldn't imagine anybody doing it better than she did. So, it was cool for her to be on the song. Also having her out with all the success on the other song, and also lyrically, it kind of feels like the song after 'You Look Like You Love Me.' So it's kind of cool to have that accidentally work out."
