This Country Star Gave Lainey Wilson A Hundred Dollar Bills And Dropped Her Off At A Strip Club

Lainey Wilson has shared the time a country star took Lainey Wilson and her crew to a strip club as an end-of-tour gift. Oh, and one that had biscuits and gravy night.

The "Whirlwind" hitmaker recently visited Theo Von on his This Past Weekend podcast, where they had a long discussion about Louisiana, her exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the time a country star dropped her off at a strip club.

When Wilson and Von were looking at AI-generated names for potential Lainey Wilson songs, she caught the title "Gravy On My Guitar." And it reminded her of a brilliant story.

"HARDY took me and some of my crew to a strip club in Huntsville," she just blurted out. That's right, it was HARDY, because who else would do this? "He gave me a hundred ones, and it was like, 'Have fun.' It was like my end-of-tour gift."

Wilson and HARDY have a pretty extensive history of working together. So I suppose they're close enough for HARDY to gift her a strip club visit.

The club he brought her down to was Uncle Buck's B--by Bungalow. And, apparently, it has a biscuit and gravy night every Thursday.

Lainey Wilson Hilariously Describes Biscuit And Gravy Night At A Strip Club

That is a sentence I couldn't have conceived by myself had it never happened. What a time to be alive.

After plenty of jokes about the strip club and this supposed biscuit and gravy night, Lainey Wilson finally goes into detail about the night in question. And it's a lot less appealing, now.

"Well, supposedly I don't know if this is true or not, but they were like, 'Y'all got to come back for biscuits and gravy night, blah blah blah.' And I thought, 'Oh, that that's nice,' you know, sitting around eating some biscuits and gravy," she said.

But that's not how it goes.

"No, [the strippers are] rolling around in the gravy and people are throwing the biscuits."

What?

Both Theo Von and Lainey Wilson were taken back by the strange take on biscuit and gravy night. Although, they agreed they'd both certainly somehow manage to eat some.
