Lainey Wilson has gone over the joke her fiancé, Duck Hodges, pulled recently that she really didn't find funny.

As the country music world knows, Lainey Wilson sat down with Theo Von on his This Past Weekend podcast recently. Where they chat about a wealth of topics, including the time HARDY dropped Lainey Wilson off at a strip club. One that did... biscuits and gravy night? Sure, whatever.
Anyway, she also spoke about the time her fiancé, Devlin "Duck" Hodges thought it would be real funny to surprise her with a fashion statement. And although he found it funny, she certainly did not.
Von and Wilson were talking about how important haircuts are for men. Considering the lack of other cosmetic options, a bad haircut can be especially rough.
Right after establishing this, Lainey dropped quite the bomb, "Duck dyed his hair bleach blonde as a joke."
"What kinda joke was it?" Von incredulously asked.
"Well, I don't know, but I'm going to tell you right now, I didn't think it was funny," Wilson laughed. "I didn't think it was funny."
Not enjoying the new look, she gave him an ultimatum, "I said, 'You better sleep with a ball cap on until that thing grows out.'" Of course, I'm sure she was joking here. But the resentment behind the joke was very real.
"Now it's starting to look like frosted tips."
Even The Moms Were Behind The Joke
What's even funnier, is that both Hodge's and Wilson's moms were with him when he did it.
Von suggested that they should go down to Panama City to sort it out. But through gritted teeth, Wilson said, "That's where he did it."
"We were playing Panama City, and my mama and his mama and him, like, had this bright idea, and they all got it done."
They videoed Lainey Wilson's reaction to seeing his blonde hairdo, but unfortunately, she didn't show it.
"My mouth is wide open," she said of the video. "I was like, 'Uh-uh. Nope. The wedding's off. Wedding's off, bro.'"
What a moment.
