Country Star Flashes His 6-Pack, Reveals What He Wants in a Woman on Viral Dating Show

Tucker Wetmore went on a viral dating show to find love, and it seems like he might've met his match. Here's the latest.

In UpDating, the viral reality show where two people go on a blind date in front of a live audience, Tucker Wetmore revealed what he's looking for in a potential lady. Before meeting a girl named Melissa via the show, Wetmore shared that he just wanted a woman that his mom would approve of.

"I don't really need much," the singer admitted. "I'm looking for a nice woman that my mom won't send home when I take her home." Apparently, Wetmore's had a few run-ins with some "mean girls." Honestly, we don't really blame his mom for not being too excited about that either.

Hosts of the show, Brandon Berman and Harrison Forman, paired Wetmore and Melissa together after a round of questions, and the two confirmed with a thumbs up that they were interested. Even after taking off their blindfolds, the pair still seemed to be curious about each other.

In an additional round, Tucker had to choose between another contestant and Melissa. It was then that he confirmed his interest in the blonde, who owns a dance studio and does modeling. With both of them having careers in entertainment, it seems like they could be a good match outside of the show.

Who Is Tucker Wetmore?

Enough about what Wetmore's looking for - is the country singer really as much of a catch as he seems? The CMA and ACM-nominated artist definitely brings some good stuff to the table, and here's why we think so. Not only is Wetmore a retired college athlete, he's been playing the piano since the age of 11. He might have played football at Montana Tech, but music seems to be his first love.

Wetmore already has two songs that have been on the Billboard Hot 100, but before releasing music, he also garnered a significant presence on social media. Since then, he's gone on tour with stars like Kameron Marlowe and Luke Bryan, and is set to go on Thomas Rhett's Better In Boots Tour in 2025.

In an interview with Entertainment Focus, the country singer shared that his love for music is deeply personal. "I love music because it makes me feel something and it helps me in my everyday life, it's my therapy and if I can be that for just one person, that's my goal." Wetmore laughed while admitting, "And some more number ones."

What can we say - Wetmore's sweet, talented, and he's got a few hits under his belt already. Who knows, maybe Melissa could be the girl that sweeps him off his feet, but if not, we're sure this country star's not gonna be having any troubles in the romance department.
