Motherhood clearly agrees with singer Hillary Scott of Lady A. She and her husband Chris Tyrrell recently welcomed their fourth child and they are truly ecstatic. She had their baby, named Selah Jean, almost three months ago. Scott, 39, said per People, "We are in a really sweet place right now. Our house is full, and our hearts are full and we're just adjusting to life with a newborn again, and it's so fun. She's doing wonderful." The new addition takes her place in the family with siblings Emory JoAnn, Betsy Mack, and Eisele Kaye.

Everyone Is Getting Along Well
There is domestic harmony in the Tyrrell household as everyone adjusts to the new little one. Scott shared per the outlet. "[Selah's] sisters are just so smitten with her. I feel like my older girls come down the stairs every morning, and if I'm feeding her or she's waking up, it's like Christmas morning every day. It's just so sweet."
As for Scott, she is doing great. According to People, "Right now, the plan is to continue to rest and get stronger. But I feel good. I mean, this pregnancy was really the easiest one I have had. I was not expecting being an 'older mom,' but Selah was really sweet to me. Plus, I think also having three older girls to just wake up and show up for and run around with has helped my recovery. I'm just really not putting too much pressure on myself. I'm just really feeling my way through each day."
Another Member of Lady A Also Has a New Baby
Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie welcomed their bundle of joy, Archer Lancaster Kelley, on September 16. Kelley sounds like he can hardly believe his and his wife's good fortune. He said, "For the past four or five years, we were like, 'Okay, it's just not in the cards and we're completely happy with our life.'" (The couple has a young son named Ward.) "Then it was almost like the minute we stopped trying and thinking about it, it just happened."
So Much Joy in the Ranks of the Band
Dave Haywood of the band and his wife Kelli brought a new family member into the world in 2024. They had a baby boy on July of last year. Scott marveled at all the happiness that she, Kelley, and Haywood are enjoying as parents. "I mean, what are the chances we are all in the same season of life again?" she wondered. "I can't even express just how much joy it brings for all of us — not only in our individual families, but also as the collective Lady A family. We're just so overjoyed."
