It's hard to believe a modern man like David Beckham has adopted a rural lifestyle.

The former soccer star certainly doesn't dress like he's living the country life. He's been a style icon for decades. Rarely can you open a magazine without seeing Beckham in a clothing ad.
He's also been an ambassador for the appliance company SharkNinja since 2024 and worked with Motorola earlier in his career.
However, it's the Inter Miami CF co-owner's social media presence that has us scratching our heads.
With over 80 million followers on Instagram, he's always sharing snapshots from a lifestyle that seems to straddle the line between modern and rural. In addition to snapshots on the red carpet, Beckham posts about his love of gardening, raising chickens, and beekeeping on his expansive estate.
"When we go through the harvest of the honey and I sit there in my kitchen looking at it all, I get quite emotional," reported the Daily Mail.
And the person who has helped Beckham adopt this lifestyle is his friend, director Guy Ritchie.
David Beckham Calls Ritchie a "Country Gentleman"
To hear Beckham talk about the director of hit films like Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, you'd think he lives in the Stone Age.
"He's a modern-day caveman, who has made me fall far deeper in love with the countryside and helped me to understand it even more than I did before," said Beckham. "Sometimes we sit for hours around a fire, just the two of us, and talk late into the night."
Beckham adds, "Guy is the ultimate country gentleman, who absolutely loves his estate in Wiltshire. Spending time with him is one of the reasons I fell so deeply in love with the countryside."
In fact, the man who has influenced legions of soccer players and fans finds inspiration in Ritchie's lifestyle.
"He's a great and very close friend, who inspires me so much," says Beckham. "I learn a lot from him — whether it's about life, countryside management, people, politics, the monarchy, or what it means to be British — all of the time."
Ritchie Also Helped Beckham Become a Grill Master
Beckham took another cue from Ritchie's lifestyle by investing in an outdoor BBQ tent with a grill and a table that seats a dozen guests. David has said he uses it every weekend.
''In the countryside in the UK, my kids are there every weekend, and we all grill every Saturday from 11 in the morning until 12 at night.'
