White chose to update fans via Instagram and thanked them for their thoughts and prayers regarding the situation. "So thank you to the people that bought tickets to Albany. Sometimes unfortunately, these things happen as we put a lot of miles on these roads and just appreciate your thoughts and prayers for being with our bus driver, and we'll see you down the road."
Although White and his crew left the accident unscathed, his bus driver is in the hospital receiving treatment. The singer and his band are currently on their Keep It Movin' Tour, which is the headlining tour for his album, Low Country High Road. The tour will be making stops through December. In 2026, he will also be supporting Riley Green on his Cowboy As It Gets Tour, which will feature several other acts like Hannah Mcfarland, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Zach John King.
White To Perform at Benefit for the Brain Charity Event
Drake White's career thus far has been full of ups and downs, on and off the road. In 2019, White suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while performing onstage, which left him paralyzed on his right side. During a period of time in which he thought he might not be able to perform ever again, White threw himself into projects like The Optimystic, which details how his faith life has given him strength and resilience.
Next month, White will be performing at his second-ever Benefit for the Brain Charity at the Ryman Auditorium, which will donate proceeds to various causes. He aims to raise funds for veterans struggling with mental health and PTSD, as well as children and adults with various neurological problems. Brain health is obviously a cause that's near and dear to his heart, especially after all that he overcame in 2019.
Fans and supporters of the cause can see White perform alongside other country artists like Riley Green, Jon Pardi, and Kashi Ashton, as well as other special guests.
