Tell us how you really feel about Halloween costumes, Kid Rock.

During an interview on the Fox News program Jesse Watters Primetime on Friday, Oct. 24, the host and the "All Summer Long" rocker shared what they would be for Halloween.
Watters said he and his family were going as characters as Scooby Doo. Kid Rock then holds up a face mask and tells the host he was going as the R-word. The two then have a laugh. You can check out the clip below.
The Special Olympics Has Weighed in on the Clip
In an open letter on the organization's website, Loretta Claiborne asked Kid Rock, "Please acknowledge the hurt caused and use this moment to stand with us in rejecting that word and the prejudice it represents."
"People with intellectual disabilities, one of the largest groups of people with disabilities in the world, have suffered generations of discrimination and humiliation," she writes. "In the 21st century, we're still continuing to fight for the simplest form of justice: the recognition of our full humanity, a recognition you undermine when you use the word r*****."
"You have the chance to turn this incident into a statement of strength, to acknowledge the harm, to stand with people with intellectual disabilities, and to help lead the conversation toward greater understanding and respect," continues Claiborne.
"I would be honored to speak with you and share more about the movement for inclusion and respect that has changed so many lives, including my own. Together, we can use this moment to build a world where every person is valued and respected."
In addition to her role with the Special Olympics, Claiborne is a speaker and athlete. She has won seven gold medals, and Denzel Washington presented her with the Arthur Ashe ASPY Courage Award in 1996.
What Does Kid Rock Have to Say About the Letter?
Right now, Kid Rock has yet to respond publicly to Claiborne. Given his penchant for political stunts, such as his "Kid Rock for Senate" Tour back in 2017, or his attempt to boycott Bud Light, it seems unlikely he'll apologize.
Recently, the singer responded to some trolling on X by California Governor Gavin Newsom with the following tweet:
The response from Newsom led to Kid Rock being "suspended" from performing in the Golden State.
