The Florida man is at it again. After stealing an ambulance while drinking a beer, biting someone's ear off during a fight, and dressing as Ronald McDonald, only to get arrested for trespassing, we thought we had heard it all from the mysterious fellow from the Sunshine State.

But the Florida man refuses to stay in hiding. He threw urine at a business after failing to secure a job interview, wrestled an alligator with a trash can, and died with his dog in a bear attack.
Yet, the Florida man keeps going. Now he's in real estate. His latest offering is a home located on the Space Coast with a very unusual feature: a swimming pool in the basement.
While the current owner of the home did not build the pool (apparently, the Florida Man who built the house did so originally), they went online for the next steps ahead of selling the property, and the responses they received were probably less than helpful.
Homeowner Goes to Reddit for Help
They posted pictures of the home on Reddit, along with a description of the space.
"The room is enclosed with French doors, has recessed lighting, tile/concrete flooring, and a small adjoining sitting area," he wrote. "Structurally, it's fine, and it has its own AC unit, just outdated and honestly confusing for potential buyers. We're trying to figure out how to make it most appealing when we list — without dumping money into something that won't pay off."
They then shared three options:
- Refinish it as a functional indoor pool/spa area with a proper dehumidifier system.
- Convert it into a rec room / gym / home theater, keeping the pool shape covered but intact.
- Fill it in and turn it into a game room, studio, or bar area.
He Asked for Help, but Got a Lot of Hilarious Ideas Instead
The inheritor of the Florida Man indoor pool welcomed any "creative ideas, practical advice, or brutal reality checks." Sadly, they mostly received the latter.
"I didn't even think there were BASEMENTS in Florida, let alone ones with pools," one user wrote.
Another added, "Yeah, the biggest complaint of Floridians is not having enough mold in their homes, so this should solve that problem."
"Instagram ball pit," another user suggested. Another idea: "Turn it into an indoor skate park."
This one might be our favorite: "I would turn this into an 80's Miami vaporwave/synthwave haven."
Whatever they decide, good luck with the renovation!
