After much speculation on what Megan Moroney has planned for her new album, the singer has finally revealed more details. Just yesterday morning, Moroney gave insight into the color scheme of her new project, and let's just say it's not what we thought it would be. But, we're not disappointed.

In an Instagram reel, Moroney is shown wearing a blue dress and walking up to a blue windowsill. After she opens the window, music immediately starts playing, and everything on the screen turns to a bright shade of...wait for it...pink! This "pink" era is confirmed by a new profile picture on Moroney's page, which showcases the singer under pink lighting.
The "Tennessee Orange" hitmaker couldn't move on without giving a proper goodbye to her last era, of course. "Goodbye blue" is what she captioned a series of photos from the Am I Okay? Era, which included pictures of everything, from music video shoots to the iconic gown she wore at the 2024 CMAs.
Moroney is up for six nominations at the award show this year, one of which includes Am I Okay? being up for best album.
Megan Moroney Describes New Project as Having a "Happier" Feel
Since she first mentioned the project in May, Moroney's fans have been keeping a close eye out for easter eggs. After a surprise pop-up at La La Land in Nashville, a lot of fans suspected a "yellow era" from the singer. This also makes sense, since she's described her third album as having more of an "upbeat" and "happier" feel.
But not to worry, Moroney is still sticking to her emo cowgirl roots. "It wouldn't be a Megan Moroney album without some heart-wrenching thing," she shared with Country Now.
She also talked with Jake Shane about how she feels, since she's been in the industry for a little longer. "I think the biggest difference with this album is that just, like, my feet are so planted and I know exactly who I am. I feel like I've always known who I am, but like, I know who I am and I'm willing to take risks now, you know?"
As she moves into this new era, it will be interesting to see what she decides to wear for the 2025 CMAs. The award show will take place on Wednesday, November 19 on ABC, at 8 pm Eastern Time. Following this announcement, we definitely have a good idea of what color her outfit might be.
