Riley Green Is Awed by His CMA Nominations: "I'm Excited To [Be] Lifted up There"

Riley Green has truly attained country music stardom. A genuine fan favorite, he is a surefire crowd pleaser and highly respected artist. When the annual CMA Awards are bestowed next week on the very best of the genre, Green will be solidly in contention.

Per Country Now, he's in the running for Musuc Video, Single, and Song of the Year for his smash collab with Ella Langley, "You Look Like You Love Me." The charismatic country duo is also contending with "Don't Mind If I Do" for Musical Event of the Year.

Green Regards His Star Stature With Humility, Gratitude and Wonder

Per the outlet, he offered these thoughts on the upcoming CMAs. Green said, "It's never something that you really expect. I always think about things as just a fan of country music because it's not too long ago that I was, you know. And you see the names that are mentioned in winnin' these awards and being nominated, and then to get kind of thrown in with that is always a big deal. And I'm excited to have it lifted up there with all these other great songs and collaborations."

He Will Perform at the CMA Awards

Per the outlet via ABC and the CMA, Green will be taking the stage to sing at the glittering event on Wednesday, November 19. He will be doing his hit track, "Worst Way." Green wrote the sensuous song himself.

There will be numerous performances that evening from country music's top talent. They reportedly include Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson [she is also the host], Patty Loveless, Zach Top, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, and many others as well.

The occasion will be held in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena. The fun kicks off at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on ABC. You can watch it the next day with Hulu.

Green Hits the Road

The singer plans to visit Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Lincoln. Nebraska, among others. Green will finish out 2025 with shows in Las Vegas. He starts 2026 in Mexico with Luke Bryan and Crash My Playa. He'll also be embarking on his much-anticipated Cowboy As It Gets Tour.
