Many people are used to seeing Bill Belichick on the sidelines of an NFL team like the New England Patriots, where he was a highly successful head football coach for 23 years. Now he is the coach of the UNC Tar Heels. That is his professional habitat. But the typically unsmiling Belichick, 73, turned up somewhere you would not have expected to find him at on Sunday, November 16.

Belichick Was in the Crowd for Hudson
He was reportedly seen among spectators at an adult cheerleading contest in North Carolina. His girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24, was competing, per People. She was with "Code Black, a competitive cheerleading team based out of Cheer Extreme Raleigh in North Carolina." Four years ago, Hudson landed a cheerleading championship. seems like she is back for more.
Hudson has been seen at some of Belichick's road and home collegiate games.
Fans Were Mystified, Critical, or Wisecracking
People expressed their feelings about the twosome on Adam Kessel's X. They did not hold back.
"This is the greatest and most bizarre thing I have ever seen on my life."
"Why would Belichick subject himself to this?"
One person was kinder than most. "People are making fun but 1) good for her for doing something she enjoys and 2) this is the most relatable Belichick has ever been. Who among us hasn't sat next to other bored spouses at something we don't care about because it's important to our significant other?"
"As Bill yells 'that's my girl,' another 70 year old grandma seated beside him asks 'which one is your daughter?'"
You get the drift.
Their Relationship Has Raised Eyebrows
The pair have generated attention largely because of the wide disparity in their ages, nearly 50 years. There was also an incident earlier this year that grabbed lots of scrutiny. According to People, Belichick was being interviewed for CBS News' Sunday Morning to promote his book The Art of Winning: Lessons From a Life in Football.
Things went somewhat haywire when reporter Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick a fairly benign question about how he and Hudson met. She was sitting out of camera range and piped up, "We're not talking about this." Dokoupil said, "No?" To which Hudson answered, "No."
