Reporter Rips a Loud One During Saquon Barkley’s Postgame Interview

That fumble by Saquon Barkley wasn't the only thing that stunk up the Philadelphia Eagles locker room yesterday.

There was probably no clever way to sum up how badly the Philadelphia Eagles played in the second half of their matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. That fourth-quarter fumble by Saquon Barkley did them no favors.

The Eagles scored three touchdowns in the first half thanks to the efforts of quarterback Jalen Hurts. That lead was erased by 14 penalties and the Eagles' difficulty converting on third down. Credit to the Cowboys' defense for that.

The Eagles' difficulty in preventing Dak Prescott from making plays allowed Dallas to win it with a 42-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey at the end of the game. (Don't forget to give Chris Stapleton some credit.)

But it was that fumble by Barkley that changed the energy of the game. Tackled by Sam Williams, the running back lost the ball. It was recovered by Kenneth Murray Jr.

Barkly was visibly disappointed in himself during the postgame interview. However, it was a reporter's tush that did the talking.

What Did the Reporter Do During the Interview?

The fumble was bad, but Barkley's stats in Dallas weren't up to his usual standard either. He had 10 carries for 22 rushing yards and 7 receptions for 52 receiving yards. That is far below his average of 62.2 rushing yards per game this season.

When a reporter asked Barkley what was going on this week, another reporter gave an answer. He ripped two noisy farts before the Super Bowl winner could speak. Even with his AirPods in, it was so loud it made Barkley turn his head to see what the racket was.

The look on Barkley's face was priceless. The clip has now gone viral.

What's Next for Saquon Barkley?

Barkley and the Eagles will take on the Chicago Bears this Friday, Nov. 28, for Amazon Prime's Black Friday game. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. Eastern time in Philadelphia.

The Cowboys will take on the Kansas City Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Post Malone will be headlining The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show, which will be broadcast on CBS.

"I'm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years," said Malone. "It's a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people."
