Even though Megan Moroney has notoriously stated that she's "too busy" to date, the 28-year-old still gets involved in rumors. Especially ones with certain NFL players—namely, Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers.

Rumors initially flew when Moroney attended a 49ers game back in October and shared on Instagram a photo of her wearing a custom jersey that read "Moroney 9." Many fans speculated that it was a reference to Bosa's jersey and immediately started cooking up theories. The pair also follows each other on the social media app, which is definitely worth considering.
Of course, like with any other dating question, Moroney was able to give a solid explanation for all the talk. If by explanation, by the way, you mean no explanation at all, then that about covers it. In a recent interview, Moroney simply shared, "I'm not dating right now at all. I'm too busy."
Even though this doesn't really offer insight into what's happening with Bosa, the girl has a point. Aside from being a key player at the CMA Awards, Moroney recently announced her third album, Cloud 9. The project is set to drop in February, and is keeping her busier than ever.
She describes the album as her "best work yet," and tells fans that it's representative of the "strongest, most confident version" of herself that she's ever been.
Moroney Doesn't Reveal Who Her Songs Are About - Ever
While much of Moroney's music draws inspiration from her dating life, she does follow rules when it comes to exposing exes. In an interview with Today, she shared, "I will not say who my songs are about ever," even though she also admitted that, when it comes to releasing music, she usually doesn't give past flings "a heads up."
Regardless, that doesn't stop her from singing about her love life, which she'll be doing more of in this album. Not only has Moroney teased that the title track, "Cloud 9," is happier, but she's also revealed that there's a lot more "softness" in this project than in those before it.
However, not to worry, she's still sticking to her "emo cowgirl" roots. "I've still got the emo cowgirl staples on there," she shared at the AMA awards. "It wouldn't be a Megan Moroney album without some heart-wrenching thing, but I do think it's lighter and it's really fun."
