Zac Brown Accused of Performing a Demonic Ritual in Las Vegas

The Zac Brown Band kicked off their slate of shows at The Sphere in Las Vegas. Some attendees said things got weird.

It was a pretty eventful weekend for Zac Brown Band. Its new album, Love & Fear, came out the same day as it kicked off its residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

This residency is the result of a transformation that began in July, when Zac Brown announced a "new direction" for the band and a new album. It sports a fantasy-inspired cover and collaborations with Marcus King, Dolly Parton, and Snoop Dogg.

However, not all fans embraced Brown's evolution. Some who attended the Vegas shows voiced concerns online, accusing the "Chicken Fried" singer of using "demonic imagery" in the concert. Check out the details below.

Some Fans Call the New Zac Brown Band Show a "Demonic Ritual"

The band called the opening night of the new show a "ride" on social media.

"After dreaming this one up for a long time it feels surreal to finally live it," it said in the caption. "We've played a lot of shows, but nothing like this. Grateful for everyone who showed up and we can't wait to do it all again tomorrow night."

Others weren't so eager to return.

A user on X wrote, "Zac Brown Band performed a demonic ritual at the sphere. Most of these concerts are energy harvesting rituals."

"Country music star Zac Brown is facing accusations that his Las Vegas Sphere show featured a dark, satanic-like ritual theme," posted another user. "Fans say the visuals plunged the audience into hellish scenes filled with demons, tortured souls, and imagery that included a crown resembling devil horns. Zac Brown says the show simply tells the story of his life and personal journey."

If these posts are serious, expect a flood of tickets to Brown's sold-out December shows to hit the resale market fast.

Brown's Life Has Been a Little Hellish

Last year saw a messy divorce between Brown and Kelly Yazdi. The couple had been married for four months. She started as Social Media Manager at Brown's company. She was eventually promoted to Executive Vice President.

After their split in Dec. 2023, they released a joint statement describing their decision to separate amicably. However, this was followed by a lengthy legal battle that included allegations of gaslighting, projecting, and threats.

Brown is now engaged to jewelry designer Kendra Scott.
