Last week, Sabrina Carpenter told The White House over social media not to "involve" her or her music in what she called its "inhumane agenda."

These comments came after they posted a 21-second clip using the lyric "Have you ever tried this one?" from her song "Juno". It's looped over footage of ICE agents putting people in handcuffs during deportation arrests.
On Friday, the White House showed it complied with Carpenter's wishes with another post. It did not use another song from the pop star's catalog. Rather, it used an AI-altered clip featuring her and Saturday Night Live cast member Marcello Hernandez.
What Is in This New Sabrina Carpenter Clip?
The new 16-second video featured the following caption: "PSA: If you're a criminal illegal, you WILL be arrested & deported." It features a snippet of a promotional clip for Carpenter's October appearance on SNL.
In the original video, the singer tells Hernandez, "I think I might need to arrest someone for being too hot." In the altered video, the word "hot" is replaced with "illegal" using AI. Foorage of ICE arrests then follows.
This isn't the first time that the White House has used a pop star's music for something like this. It used Taylor Swift's "The Fate Of Ophelia" last month for a clip promoting President Donald Trump's policies.
The song "All-American B***h" by Olivia Rodrigo was used in a Department of Homeland Security Instagram post about self-deportation. She asked that her music never be used to promote what she called "racist, hateful propaganda."
However, this might be the first time an artist has been referenced twice in a social media clip from the White House.
Has Carpenter Responded Yet?
The "Espresso" singer hasn't responded to the new clip at this time.
After Carpenter made her feelings known about the use of "Juno" in the previous video, a spokesperson for the White House said the following:
"Here's a Short n' Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: We won't apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?"
