Camryn Magness Started Chasing Her Dream at 8 Years Old
During a 2012 interview with Teen Vogue, Camryn explained how she began chasing her dream of becoming a musician when she was 8 years old.
"When I was 8, I recorded a demo and I sent it to Jeff Pringle, who is my manager now. Before I recorded the demo, my mom and me had asked him to manage me and he said, 'I'm not managing an 8-year-old. Are you crazy?' So we sent him the demo asking him what direction we should be going in as far as other managers, who we needed to be in contact with — just starting from square one on our own. Once he heard my music, he contacted us and said, 'You don't need to go anywhere else. I'll manage her.'"
Unfortunately, Camryn's passing means we will never know how far she could have taken her developing career. Details of her funeral and service have not been released, and will likely be a closed affair for family and close friends.
