Lainey Wilson To Perform at Christmas Halftime Show With Snoop Dogg on Netflix

It's a Lainey Wilson kind of holiday! Read below to learn more about her upcoming halftime appearance at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Lainey Wilson is building a name for herself in more worlds than one. Following the singer's recent appearance on Monday Night Football, it's been announced that Wilson will perform in the Christmas Day halftime show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The show will also include performances from the legendary Snoop Dogg and Netflix's KPOP Demon Hunters. It will follow the first half of the Vikings v. Lions game, and will start at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Fans can stream the show live on Netflix.

It seems that Wilson was only warming up with her Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance earlier this year. There, she performed songs like "Somewhere Over Laredo" and "Peace, Love, And Cowboys".

Even though this lineup of artists is definitely an unexpected mix, Lainey is no stranger to meshing with different genres. So, this really shouldn't pose a problem for her. Hell, just recently, she had a single come out with rock legends Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD, where she added a verse.

"I'm really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us," said YUNGBLUD of her collaboration on "Wild Woman". "I have been a fan of hers for a while. Her life story is truly inspirational. With this record, we really needed a female vocalist who could carry it with the level of authenticity that Lainey embodies. We needed a wild woman and we for sure got one!"

Lainey Wilson Is Busy Planning a Wedding

Amidst performing at holiday shows, contributing verses left and right, and taking home CMA after CMA, you'd think that Lainey Wilson would hardly have any time left on her calendar for her personal life. And unfortunately, you would be correct.

The "Heart Like A Truck" singer got engaged to her fiancé, Duck Hodges, in February of this year, and has admitted in interviews that the wedding still "hasn't been planned."

Lainey Wilson and Delvin "Duck" Hodges first started dating back in 2021, but didn't publicly debut their relationship until 2023.

"I told him I'm gonna make him wait," she joked with Country Living. "He made me wait for four years... I'm gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing."
