Jack Doherty messed with the wrong guy on Friday, Dec. 19. In a video uploaded to social media, Doherty, who is famous for his prank videos, and his entourage can be seen getting into a fight with Andrei Arlovski.
For those that don't know, Arlovski is a former UFC Heavyweight champion. He ended his UFC career with a record of 23 wins and 18 losses with one no contest. In his entire MMA career, he's 34-24. Simply put, Doherty, his friends, or even his security guard, had no business trading blows with "The Pitbull."
Judging by the video, Doherty and his friends had no idea who they were brawling with. As they're walking away from the action, one of them can be heard asking, "who the f--k is that guy?"
Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt. However, if any of them had tried to go toe-to-toe with the former champion, things wouldn't have turned out well for them. Arlovski quickly floored two of Doherty's friends with hard punches and leg trips. A woman, who appeared to be with Arlovski, then held him back.
The altercation took place backstage following Anthony Joshua's sixth-round knockout of Jake Paul.
Before Jack Doherty's Fight, Jake Paul Suffered a Double Broken Jaw
Doherty's friends are the only ones who caught some tough punches on the night. Shortly after he was taken to the hospital following his loss, Paul posted an X-ray of his jaw on social media. The picture clearly showed two breaks, proving how much of a power puncher Joshua really is.
The breaks could have occurred with the hard right-handed uppercut Joshua hit Paul with, or potentially the right cross that ended the night. Either way, "The Problem" child will face a painful recovery period after stepping into the ring with one of the most powerful and technically gifted boxers of his generation.
Interestingly, despite the loss, Paul was quick to call out Canelo Alvarez. "Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days."
