It's a well-known fact that Paul Walter Hauser is a huge wrestling fan. He's made multiple appearances as a guest for wrestling promotions, including AEW, which is second only to WWE in viewership and popularity. However, Walter Hauser has never wrestled a match. But that is about to change.

The Cobra Kai and The Naked Gun actor is set to get his first taste of in-ring action for SuperPower Slam, where he has called for a Lumberjack Strap Match against "Mad Dog" Connelly. Strap matches are known for their brutality and high level of physical impact.
The event, which is taking place at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City, is being run in conjunction with top independent wrestling promotions Game Changer Wrestling and Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
Paul has already cut his promo ahead of the match, which is what has led to the lumberjack strap stipulation being added in.
"You are no one to be trifled with. For you, it isn't just about professional wrestling, is it? You brawl, you bite, and you maim, and you're not the type to waste your time barking. You're just going to eat the meal placed right in front of you," Hauser said. "But I have cleared my own plate in this world, Jack, and let me tell you something, for me, it also isn't just professional wrestling. This isn't some celebrity cameo match."
Big Wrestling Names Are Also Appearing on the Same Card As Paul Walter Hauser
SuperPower Slam will also feature AEW talents Lee Moriarty, Kevin Knight, and Speedball Mike Bailey. The latter two form the "Jet Speed" tag team.
Indie God Matt Cardona will also be wrestling at the event. Cardona recently returned to the WWE for a one-off match in the "The Last Time is Now Tournament" to face John Cena in his final match. He fought under his WWE pseudonym of Zack Ryder.
With a stacked card on offer, wrestling fans will undoubtedly flock to the event. After all, it's not every day an actor signs up for one of the more brutal matches in professional wrestling. Especially for their debut in the sport.
SuperPower Slam, which is being presented by Orange Crush in partnership with GCW and JCW, is a non-profit event. The proceeds are reportedly going to support the neurodivergent community at the Little Oaks Center in New York, per TMZ.
