Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert have forged a great personal and professional connection. They did a fierce duet at the ACM Awards last year on "Kerosene." Also, Lambert, 42, was a co-writer on Langley's hit, "Choosin' Texas." Furthermore, she co-produced Langley's next LP, Dandelion. It seems as if the older singer has taken the younger one under her wing. In fact, Lambert gave Langley a piece of advice that really resonated with the popular "You Look Like You Love Me" vocalist.

Both Lambert and Langley Are Thrilled With the Success of "Choosin' Texas"
Ella Langley was a guest on Country Countdown USA recently. She shared the jubilant reaction that she and Miranda Lambert had to their song's success. "We were talking on FaceTime the other night. We've made history with this song, both just baffled and grateful. We loved the song, but never thought it would do this. There's no way you can predict it."
As for Lambert's participation on Dandelion, Langley observed, "I always wanted to produce a record with her." After we wrote 'Choosin' Texas,' she was there for all the sessions."
Lambert Put Things in Perspective for Her Friend
Lambert, a seasoned country music star, told Langley, a relative newcomer, something that stuck with her. Per the outlet, Langley said, "She said to me, 'You are more important than this job.' She made me care for myself. Having someone like that made me feel like I'm okay."
That affirmation must have felt great to Langley. She has been open in the past about her mental health challenges. Langley told The Scotty Kay Show last year that she sometimes struggles with her mental well-being despite looking like she is atop the universe.
For her, however, the bottom line is about pure appreciation. The singer noted, "I think at the end of the day, just spinning it back on being grateful for what God's given me and the place that I get to be in. Hopefully my honesty and realness, some little girl or little boy who wants to do this gets to see that. It's tough, but tough things are worth going through if you want them bad enough."
