A mother has sadly passed away after falling 15 feet off a theme park ride. Yuris Cristel Camila García Manrique, mother to a 4-year-old daughter, was reportedly terrified of going down the large slide at a Colombian theme park.

Footage of the incident, which has been posted on X, shows the mother speeding down the slide before being flung into the air. She then disappears out of the shot, and reportedly fell 15 feet.
"Did she fall off?" someone can be heard asking in the video clip.
According to The Sun, the mother suffered severe brain, abdominal and chest injuries. She sadly passed away en route to the nearest hospital.
The theme park has since issued a statement, which was posted to Instagram via Entre Flores.
"In light of this tragic event, we extend our deepest condolences and most sincere sympathy to the family, friends, and loved ones of Yuris Cristel Camila García Manrique," the statement reads. "We wholeheartedly share in their grief during this difficult time. We would like to inform you that, from the moment of the incident, the company immediately activated the emergency and assistance protocols established for such cases, providing initial support."
Entre Flores Is Commited To Working With Relevant Authorities for an Investigation
When such a tragic accident occurs, an inevestigation mus follow. The statement Entre Flores continued, noting that Entre Flores is committed to working with the relevant authorities as the investigation continues.
"Entre Flores SAS expresses its full willingness and commitment to collaborate with the competent authorities in the process of verifying and clarifying the facts. We are providing all the necessary information to ensure the investigations proceed diligently. Our priority has always been and will continue to be the well-being of our visitors."
Entre Flores has also committed to holding off on any further statements regarding the issue until all the facts have been gathered regarding what caused the incident.
"Out of respect for the memory of the victim and the ongoing investigation, we will refrain from issuing any further statements regarding the causes of the accident until the relevant authorities release an official report."
