A rock singer required medical attention after being bitten by a "massive spider" while on tour.
Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless was bitten on Tuesday night as her band opened for AC/DC in Mexico City.
Remarkably, it marks the second time she has been bitten by a wild animal while performing on AC/DC's Power Up tour.
Back in 2024, Momsen was attacked by a bat onstage.
Rock Singer Wild Animal Incident Strikes Again on AC/DC Tour
Despite the incident, Momsen and The Pretty Reckless still delivered their full performance.
According to Setlist.fm, the band played a 10-song set lasting around 55 minutes at Estadio GNP Seguros.
Following the show, Momsen shared a video on social media. She updated fans as she received a medical injection to counter the effects of the spider bite.
"So it wouldn't be an AC/DC tour if I didn't get bit," Momsen wrote. "This time a massive spider decided to take a chunk out of me and its venom did a number on my system so had to have the wonderful doctors in Mexico come and deliver quite the shot before the show last night...add it to the list! Spider woman? Batgirl? WTF"
AC/DC have been on their six-leg, 90-show Power Up tour since May 2024. The Pretty Reckless have served as the support act for much of the run across Europe, North America, and now South America.
Lengthy Tour Continues Despite Onstage Scare
Momsen and her band joined the latest leg of the tour in February, kicking things off in São Paulo on February 24 before traveling across South America.
After the spider bite during the first Mexico City show on April 7, two more dates remain at the same venue on April 11 and April 15.
The tour will then move to the United States and Canada, beginning at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte in July and concluding in Philadelphia on September 29.
The incident adds to an unusual run of onstage mishaps. In May 2024 during a show in Spain, Momsen was alerted by fans that a bat had attached itself to her leg mid-performance.
"Holy f---! There's a f---ing flying bat on my leg right now," she said. "Can someone help me please? I must really be a witch."
She later confirmed she had been bitten and required two weeks of rabies shots.
The Pretty Reckless are set to release their fifth studio album, Dear God, on June 26, 2026.
