Mick Jagger has not got a speck of quit in his lanky frame. At 82, the iconic Rolling Stones frontman wants to hit the road and go on tour. There is nothing like bringing the band's blistering, propulsive brand of rock to the fans in person, right? And there is no one who does it with as much electrifying energy as Jagger. Since the 1960s, he has been singing hits like "Gimme Shelter," "Satisfaction," and "Sympathy for the Devil" for mesmerized audiences.

With a new LP, Foreign Tongues, due out next month, the Stones have plenty of reason to pack their gear and head out. Per People, their last tour was two years ago to promote their album Hackney Diamonds. Ronnie Wood did a tour on his own not long ago in Europe and the U.K.
"Can't Wait," Jagger Said
On Wednesday, May 20, Mick Jagger was a guest on BBC Radio 2's Tracks of My Years with bandmate Ronnie Wood. He expressed zeal for touring again. "I'd love to go on tour. Can't wait. I don't think it's going to be this year, but hopefully as soon as possible."
One of the Other Rolling Stones Has Thoughts on Touring
Keith Richards told the Associated Press the following on the topic of touring. He is keeping the door open to it. "I mean, we can talk next year. Possibly. At the moment we're just sort of saying we finished the record, let's do this. And so we're basically considering what to do after, you know, pretty soon. But I don't think... Not this year, anyway."
Jagger Described the Source of His Seemingly Boundless Energy
Per the AP, Mick Jagger said this about how he stays so energetic. It takes plenty of work, in his opinion. "Well, that's just being fit. You have to work at that, whatever age you are, and if you're my age you have to really work at it. You don't get around as good. You have to really work at it. It's just discipline and a lot of hard work — otherwise you can't do that. And of course, I can't do the things I did when I was 21, but I can do other things."
