The Lone Star State is famous for its hospitality, so it only makes sense that a Texas town would come together for one of their own. Last month, Big Bob's Burgers in San Antonio asked the community for help via Facebook in saving their last remaining restaurant. In true Texas fashion, locals came together to keep the burger joint afloat. Now Big Bob's wants to pay it forward.

Bob Riddle, owner of Big Bob's Burgers, opened his first location on Harry Wurzbach Road in 2008. He then moved to Hildebrand Avenue in 2011. A second location was opened at The Vistana apartment building on North Santa Rosa Street in 2013. A third location followed at North Loop 1604 West in 2015. The latter two locations have since been shut down.
With one location left, Riddle had a big hurdle to overcome: he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
