The generosity of country legend Dolly Parton knows no bounds when it comes to the children of Tennessee. The country star just donated a staggering $1 million to the Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Parton made the announcement on Fri., Oct. 13. She was on site celebrating the release of her children's album I Believe in You by performing songs for patients. The special visit brought smiles to many children's faces, as you can see in the sweet photo below.
