Country Stars React to the Santa Fe High School Shooting in Texas

At least 10 people were killed and several more injured in a shooting this morning (May 18) at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas.

The shooting began around 7:30 a.m. CT at the school, located about 20 miles outside Galveston. Police also found explosive devices in and around the school.

The Santa Fe High School shooting marks the 22nd school shooting in America this year. With the influx of these school shootings, along with the incidents at the Route 91 Harvest Festival and Sutherland Springs, Texas, more and more country stars are speaking out about gun violence via their social media pages. Here are some of the country artists who have shared messages of grief, anger and calls for political change in the aftermath of the shooting.
