Michael Duarte, also known as @foodwithbearhands, has died.

The death of the food influencer was confirmed by his talent agency, Alooma Media Group, on social media. A GoFundMe page states that a "horrible incident" was the cause. It occurred while the online celebrity, known for his BBQ content, was traveling in Texas.
"Michael was so much more than a client to us at Alooma," the statement read. "He was a true and loyal partner, a trusted collaborator, and above all, a remarkable person. His passion, professionalism, and creativity left a lasting mark not only on our team but on everyone who had the privilege of working with him."
Michael Duarte Was Also a Father and Husband
The statement added, "Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was a devoted husband to his wife Jessica, a loving father to his daughter, brother and a loyal friend to so many around the world. His warmth, kindness, and generosity were felt in every interaction, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and inspired.
"Michael's passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him. His legacy of integrity, compassion, and dedication will continue to live on through the lives he touched."
There Are Very Few Details About Duarte's Death
According to the GoFundMe page, Duarte was traveling in Texas when the fatal incident took place. It happened three days after he and his wife celebrated their nine-year wedding anniversary.
"This heartbreak came without warning, leaving Jessica to incur the expense of bringing him back home to California and covering funeral expenses," the statement read. "During this time, and in the months/years ahead, we want to make sure that Jessica and Oakley are taken care of as Michael would have wanted them to be. Your support would bring comfort, stability, and a reminder that they are not carrying this weight alone."
Duarte's Creativity "Had No Limits"
A post on Duarte's Instagram account said the influencer "had a rare gift for capturing the true spirit of BBQ."
"His creativity had no limits, and his passion was real, genuine, and full of heart," it said. "His loss leaves a space that can never be filled, but his spirit, his energy, his passion and his creativity will always be part of us."
