After last night's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, this could be the boost the Dallas Cowboys need to salvage their season.

The team recently dropped a video on social media stating that it was about to make a "big" announcement about the performer for The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Thanksgiving game on CBS. It will take place on Nov. 27 when the Cowboys take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the clip, a cowboy boot puts the pedal to the metal of an 18-wheeler. On the dash is a Dak Prescott bobblehead next to a Salvation Army bell. The truck pulls into AT&T Stadium, and the jean-clad driver steps out, watching the team's mascot Rowdy make his way onto the field.
We obviously don't know for certain who the performer is, but given the clues, we're a F-1 Trillion times sure it's Post Malone.
What Makes Us Think It's Post Malone?
Growing up in Grapevine, Texas, Malone is a huge Cowboys fan and is a friend of the team's owner, Jerry Jones. He even references the team's current QB, Dak Prescott, in his song "Wow."
There's also the boots. They bear a strong resemblance to the pair that Malone dons at shows.
Then there's the big rig. While it's not the million-dollar EarthRoamer he recently purchased, it certainly references the artist's recent "Big A** Stadium Tour" earlier this year. Malone also co-created and co-wrote a graphic novel titled Big Rig.
Given the overwhelming evidence, as well as the team's penchant for booking country artists in previous years (Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson), Malone seems like the obvious answer.
That is, unless kicker Brandon Aubrey somehow convinced Jones to book his favorite artist, Chris Stapleton.
How Are the Dallas Cowboys Doing This Season?
Given the team's 3-5-1 record as of yesterday, the team needs all the help it can get.
Much of the fault lies with the team's defense. It's been well-documented that Jones traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers before the start of the season.
However, we recently reported that the team owner has also been distracted with his role as an investor in the oil drilling company Comstock Resources. The company has recently begun drilling in East Texas.
"There's $100 billion present value with gas out there," said Jones. "That's why I'm talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our defense with the Dallas Cowboys."
Cowboys fans can't be comfortable hearing those words with the trade deadline looming. But hopefully Malone's magic can turn things around.
