You may remember Devon Aoki from the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious, where she played Suki. Well, it would appear that Aoki is dealing with real-life car trouble, yet, just like in the movie, she's not directly involved. Instead, it's her husband, James Bailey.

Bailey has reportedly hit a man riding a stand-up scooter while driving an Audi SQ7 SUV in Coral Gables, Florida. TMZ obtained the police arrest report on the matter.
To make matters worse for Bailey, he then drove away from the scene, making the incident a hit-and-run. The man on the scooter was reportedly on a crosswalk when the accident occurred. According to the police report, the victim suffered two foot fractures and a "large contusion to his left calf." The victim's girlfriend was also on the scene and contacted the police with the description of Bailey's vehicle.
From there, the police used the description, along with traffic cameras and license plate readers, to locate Bailey's car. It wasn't long before they were heading toward the home Bailey shares with Aoki.
Devon Aoki's Husband Initially Tried To Hide
According to TMZ, when the police first arrived at Aoki's home, Bailey wasn't present. Neither was the Audi in question. However, as Aoki was talking with the police, her husband returned home, sprinting into the house and locking himself inside.
While we don't know what was said, Aoki was likely too furious to put up with the situation, as Bailey came out and gave himself up within minutes. He's been arrested and charged with hit-and-run, causing serious bodily injury, and resisting without violence. Bailey has since been released.

It's been years since Aoki was last on the big screen. According to IMDB, her last acting role came in 2009, on Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Undead. Since then, she's made a few appearances in music videos, such as Fergie's "M.I.L.F. $."
However, during the early 2000s, Aoki appeared to be on the rise. Roles in Sin City, War, and 2 Fast 2 Furious were all signs that could have positioned Aoki for a move into the big time.
