‘American Pickers’ Star Hospitalized After Crash in Tennessee: “It’s Been a Rough Nite”

The co-host of "American Pickers" and his girlfriend shared the news, along with photos of the crash, over social media over the weekend.

Mike Wolfe, co-host of American Pickers, and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were hospitalized on September 12 after a car accident in Columbia, Tennessee.

Wolfe shared the news in a series of Instagram Stories the following day.

"By the grace of God, we're both safe and okay," he wrote. "We are both receiving excellent care, and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time, and we appreciate all of your love [and] prayers. God bless."

The 'American Pickers' Star's Car Has Seen Better Days

Wolfe's vintage blue Porsche 911 was badly damaged: the right headlight was missing, the front bumper was hanging off, and the hood was crushed.

"It's been a rough nite, but now there's light at the end of the tunnel," wrote Wolfe. "I truly believe in the power of group prayers. Thank you to all of you that have sent them to us."

Wolfe's Girlfriend Sustained Some Injuries

Cline, a model and reality star, also shared updates about the crash. In her first post, she shared a photo of the shattered windshield and explained that her jaw had struck it during the impact.

"Hopefully I get surgery tomorrow," she wrote in another post. "Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung, and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut, but I still got my brain, and that's all that matters."

Another post showed Cline and Wolfe lying in hospital beds. She was wearing a neck brace.

What's Going on With 'American Pickers'?

Wolfe has been the host of History Channel's American Pickers since 2010. He co-hosted the show with Frank Fritz until 2022. Fritz left the show after a public disagreement with Wolfe. Fritz died last year at the age of 60.

As we reported last year, the ratings for American Pickers' most recent season have severely declined. This came with the news that Wolfe's Nashville store, Antique Archaeology, shut down unexpectedly on November 26 last year due to "construction issues." It reopened the following day.
