Mike Wolfe, 60, of the TV show American Pickers seems to have hit a really rough patch these days. Per The U.S. Sun, his Nashville, Tennessee-based store, Antique Archaeology, shut down on November 26. It opened back up the next day. On top of that bump in the road, the outlet reported that the ratings for American Pickers are sinking severely. So my guess is that Wolfe is not an extremely happy camper right now.

It Reopened Quickly
Per the outlet, "On the morning of Tuesday, November 26, Antique Archeology Nashville informed customers the store had been suddenly shut down. The Instagram post read, 'Our Nashville store is currently closed due to some construction issues! We will keep you updated on when we open back up. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing y'all soon!'"
The store reportedly reopened the following day, November 27.

Wolfe showed off the offbeat wares in the store, among them coasters, a Santa get-up, shirts, mugs, headgear, and plenty of other stuff. He reportedly said, "We have a TV show. Before the show it was just Danielle [Colby] and I working in here. When the show hit, everyone came in and asked for t-shirts and hats. There is a mix of merch and vintage."
'American Pickers' Doesn't Seem To Be Drawing Viewers Like It Used To
Numbers Tell The Tale Of 'American Pickers' Slide In Popularity
The outlet contends that "The ratings for Season 26 are drastically low compared to last season." According to The U.S. Sun, four other History Channel shows are allegedly beating Pickers handily in the all-important ratings battle.
The October 9 premiere attracted 565,000 viewers. That number dwindled to 463,000 on October 16. Viewership ticked up on October 23 to 566.000. By October 30, only 442,000 were looking at Pickers on their TVs. Not an encouraging trend if you go by this data.
Fans Are Getting Irate
Per Express U.S., disenchanted fans of the show are turning their backs on it lately. One reportedly asserted, "It was never good. This show ruined the buying/selling market." Another was equally critical and blunt. "This show needs to go... cancel this show, it's a husk of what it was."
