Amused Customer Claims That She Found Large Knife In Her Sandwich Wrap

An Australian content creator has claimed to have found a knife hidden inside a chicken wrap she purchased from a small cafe.

A user on TikTok shared a video of her retracing the moment she found a large knife in her wrap. "I was just eating my chicken wrap, and I bit into this little orange bit," she said, referencing what looks like a carrot.

However, she proceeded to pull on the orange ingredient, to unsheath a knife from the wrap. She initially believed it was a "really hard carrot" before inspecting it herself to find the knife. Naturally, she would have had to reinsert the knife into the wrap for demonstration purposes.

She called it "pretty funny," and was rather amused. In the caption of the video, she explains what she did. It turns out she found the situation rather amusing, and didn't press any charges for the mistake as she "noticed it before any harm occurred."

"I returned to inform the staff, understanding that accidents happen. I'm grateful I wasn't injured and that it was me who found it, as someone else might have been hurt," she wrote.

Despite the alarming video that has amassed over 6 million views at the time of writing, many aren't convinced this is a true story.

Internet Debates Over The Validity Of The Video

People took to the comments to share their thoughts over the shocking video.

Many viewers are shocked that she decided not to sue them.

"Girl sue them that's not funny it's scary," one writes.

"I almost spit my drink out watching this, please tell me you sued," another urges.

"Oh honey take it serious u could be rich," says another.

These are pretty standard reactions to seeing someone show off the knife in their sandwich. However, not everyone is convinced.

""They".... Quite clearly a homemade wrap that you've shoved a knife in for views. Tik tok is full of dunces," one strongly says.

"What shop is wrapping their wraps in cling films ?" another writes, adding to the homemade theory.

"Yeah cause you totally didn't put that there," plainly writes another.

"Don't know many cafes that use glad wrap for their wraps..." another writes, not believing the sandwich is truly from a cafe.

It is entirely possible that the wrap is homemade and the video was put together for views. After all, crazier things have been set up for internet attention. However, some users have pointed out that cafes wrapping their wraps in clingfilm isn't as uncommon as others are making it out, so who knows?
