Per the outlet, Colizzi also dubbed the voices of many of the greatest actors of their time. Among them were Omar Sharif, Richard Dreyfuss in Jaws, Franco Nero, and Jack Nicholson. Colizzi's Passing Was Noted by a Friend Who Also Worked With Him
Colizzi's friend, Tony Palazzo, referenced the sad news on
Facebook. He wrote affectionately, "Today dear Pino Colizzi left us. Great voice actor and good actor with whom I worked twice. The first was in the theater play 'The Reverend' for the Verghiate in 1987 where Pino was the main character... Three years later we found ourselves in the cast of the movie 'I wanted pants'... I like to remember him...as a person, as an actor and for his very pleasant and brilliant voice. Rest in peace."'The Godfather' and 'Jaws' Were Both Acclaimed Epics in Literature and Film
Both movies came from popular novels. Mario Puzo was the author of the sprawling saga about the fictional Corleone crime family, set in post-World War II New York. The 1972 movie brought the passion and drama of the Corleone dynasty vividly to life, thanks in large measure to its stunning performances. Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, and Robert Duvall were standouts in the film.
Jaws was originally a novel by Peter Benchley. It depicted a seaside community terrorized by a monstrous shark. Actors Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw played the adventurous trio that intrepidly goes after the menacing beast.
