As Arizona residents were shopping at their local Walmart, they had no idea what was awaiting them. Self-proclaimed villain, Charles Smith, enjoys wreaking havoc on others' lives. His TikTok page is composed of various videos playing pranks on unsuspecting citizens.

More recently Smith posted a video, which has since been deleted. That video shows him harming the produce at a local Walmart. Specifically, he did this by spraying bug spray on the food. According to The NY Post, Smith is accused of "grabbing a can of Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bug and Flea Killer and unleashing the pesticide on a series of perishable items."

Interestingly enough, Smith filmed himself committing this crime. I suppose his constant pranks blurred his judgment, making it impossible for him to distinguish harmless jokes from potentially deadly crimes. The video further revealed that Smith sprayed harmful chemicals on various produce. That produce included "bananas, acorn squash, potatoes, lemons, green apples, and Roma tomatoes" at a store in Phoenix.

The Aftermath

The Arizona man and prankster has since been arrested for his crime. After spraying the food with bug spray, Smith voluntarily turned himself over to the police. Perhaps he realized that this prank took things a step too far. Police shared that the prankster admitted he makes between "$6,000-$10,000 per month filming his provocative prank videos."

It is a shame that he profits off of the suffering of others. Furthermore, it is crazy to me what people will do to gain more social media views or likes. It is unclear if Smith's prank harmed anyone. However, a spokesperson from the affected store shared that employees cleaned all of the contaminated areas. Additionally, employees removed all the contaminated products.

After the Arizona man was arrested, he now faced multiple charges. Those charges included, "introducing poison (a felony) as well as three misdemeanors that include criminal damage, endangerment, and theft," according to the Post. While his arrest may be new to him, disrupting the lives of others is not. Another of his TikTok videos shows as he ruins a man's load of laundry by placing bacon and eggs into the machine.

Even his viewers are growing tired of his antics. The comments reflected how people truly feel about his pranks.

"What is your problem bro?"

"Too far bro let him wash his stuff he probably works all day."

"Taking it too far bro."

"I refuse to believe this is real life."
