Arnold Schwarzenegger quickly became viral on social media after a video of him showed him with white hair and a beard walking with his bodyguards through the streets of New York. Many were quick to state that Schwarzenegger was showing his age, but they were all deceived. He is, in fact, playing Santa Claus, who, of course, has a white beard and white hair.

"Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are saying that the actor has 'aged 200 years in 2 months' after being spotted in New York surrounded by five bodyguards," one user wrote, sharing the video on X. Many users reacted quickly, quoting the post and commenting on what appears to be an aging Schwarzenegger.
"Bro went from Terminator to Grandinator overnight. Did he time travel back to the 1800s and just now return?" one user wrote. "Wow it's almost as if he's closer to 80 than 30. I forget, people on social media think they are perfect and will never age." a second user wrote. A third one said: "Well, bro is 77 now. Not a spring chicken anymore. He should start in a Santa action film though." This last one almost hit the bullseye.
A Santa Claus Indeed
The X post was quickly community noted, saying that he is playing the role of Santa in an upcoming Christmas movie, "The Man With the Bag." Around the same time that the video became viral, Arnold Schwarzenegger posted the announcement on his official Instagram page.
"Santa Claus is coming to town!" Schwarzenegger wrote. "It is fantastic to be shooting The Man with the Bag with @alanritchson. Our director @adamshankman is one of the funniest directors I've worked with, New York City is an amazing host, working with @amazonmgmstudios is a joy, and I can't wait to share all of this Christmas cheer with each and every one of you."
The Terminator himself will play the role of Santa Claus, who, in "The Man With the Bag," will team up with a member of the naughty list, a man named Vance. Vance will attempt to help Santa help him get back his stolen magic bag. Alan Ritchson will play Vance. Ritchson played Aquaman in Smallville and, most recently, Jack Reacher in Reacher.
