It's always enjoyable to see country artists pay homage to their musical influences. An example of this might be how Ella Langley dressed up like a younger Miranda Lambert in the duo's performance of "Kerosene" at the ACM Awards. Usually, it's a fun way for singers to show respect for another artist and their work, which Langley did beautifully. However, on Parker McCollum's What Kinda Man Tour, Ashley Cooke dressed up as him, and we're thinking it was more of a prank than an homage.

Parker McCollum has been having a hell of a year, from releasing his self-titled album back in June to embarking on his headline tour, which has featured guests like Hudson Westbrook and Ashley Cooke. For Cooke and McCollum, it seems that tour life has been almost too much fun, as the country singers seem to enjoy pranking each other from time to time.
At their most recent show in Illinois, Cooke came on stage for their duet of the song "Pretty Heart". She looked great, the only thing was that she was sporting an outfit that was pretty similar to McCollum's, which included a white t-shirt, blue jeans, a belt buckle and cowboy boots. It took a second for McCollum to realize, but when he did, he couldn't help but laugh and play along. Right before Cooke went to sing her part of the song, he told the crowd, "Give it up for Parker McCollum," in reference to Ashley's outfit.
Ella Langley Cracked Fans up With This Hilarious Prank
McCollum and Cooke aren't the only country artists who occasionally prank each other. In an interview with the Backstage Country Podcast, Ella Langley shared a couple of her favorite moments from being on tour with Riley Green.
While at a show in Franklin, TN, the "You Look Like You Love Me" singer convinced some members of the crowd to put on fake mustaches before Riley Green came out for his set. When the duo sang "You Look Like You Love Me" together, Ella cheekily wore a phony mustache of her own, perhaps to make fun of Green, who wears a real mustache.
Barely able to hold it together, Langley ultimately grabbed the stache off of her face and stuck it to Green's shirt, who also found the moment hysterical. Fans shared videos of the prank online.
If it means more moments like this, we're all for pranks on tour. Who knows, maybe Parker McCollum will dress up like Ashley next time.
