"We put our arms around each other during this time of unthinkable tragedy," McBryde writes. "If you feel led to give, you may do that here. I'd say more but I just don't have the words."

McBryde also linked the GoFundMe page, which shares more details about the tragic event.

Per GoFundMe, Tyler Persun passed away on January 10. He leaves behind his wife, Brielle, and a four-month-old son, Colby.

"Tyler was a loving husband, a devoted father, an amazing son, brother, friend and a kind soul who touched the lives of so many," the GoFundMe page explains. "During this time of sorrow, Brielle and Colby need all of us to rally around them and help ease some of the burdens they now face."

Donations, which can be made here, will go to "end-of-life expenses," such as medical bills, along with "daily expenses for Colby," plus other "financial challenges."

Sobriety

The sad news comes in an otherwise positive chapter in McBryde's life and career. The Arkansas native recently celebrated 900 days of sobriety.

"The gut punch (understatement) when I realized a choice HAD to be made," McBryde shares. "It was either continue and die or stop and learn to live. The pain I caused and was in myself. It's the hardest thing I've ever chosen to examine and take action on. And the best decision I've ever made. 900 days Sober is worth celebrating. And whatever day you may be on is worth celebrating, too!"

Shortly after the milestone, McBryde opened up about why she is so thankful to be sober.

"I'd lost so much self-trust without even realizing that it had completely gone extinct," McBryde tells People. "My favorite thing the last 915 days is that when I say something to you, you can trust it because I can trust it. I had no idea, which is one of the most cowboy lessons I've ever learned, that the reason you can trust that guy or that girl is because they trust themselves."
