There is a time and a place to get your pump on, and inside a moving jet engine is neither of them. An Aussie bodybuilder has been arrested for working out topless, only inches from the spinning blades of an enormous plane turbine.

The Australian Federal Police have arrested the former baggage handler for his insane jet workout. He had already left the job and uploaded the video as a celebration of moving on. However, that didn't take away from the fact that he had done the dangerous stunt.
In the footage, uploaded to TikTok, he can be seen shirtless, doing push-ups only inches from the spinning jet engine. One slip and he would have damaged the very expensive piece of aviation equipment.
He uploaded the footage with the caption "quick pump before the flight." Thousands of people watched the shirtless baggage handler risking his life inside the jet engine. At least a few of these were people who led to this arrest.
Judge Deems Jet Engine Workout "Irresponsible"
The Australian man was arrested and faced the court. Magistrate Greg Grogin was responsible for handing down the sentence for his crazy jet engine stunt. "I am really at a loss as to what motivates people to do such things," they said. They called the man vain and stupid before passing judgment.
He was ordered to pay $1,500 before being released. He was charged with endangering aviation safety and not wearing a lanyard on airline property. "You chose the wrong day, the wrong thing to do, and the wrong memento," the judge said.
However, the damage goes deeper. He also lost an apprenticeship at a construction firm for his crazy act of exercise. According to the exercising Aussie's lawyer, the young man has suffered a lot of stress since the incident.
He has been harassed by his college, who have told him they don't want that kind of behavior on their campus. "What it has done is put a target on his back," his attorney said. But, argue the judge, he put it there himself.
In the future, I expect he won't be working out near any jet engines. Keep it in the gym.
